METALLICA Performs In Front Of 50,000 Fans In Peru: TV Report Available

METALLICA's concert in Lima was one of the biggest musical events ever staged in Peruvian history. More than 50,000 fans reportedly attended the show, with fans lining up and camping out at the University of San Marcos stadium since Sunday (January 17).

The show was the first of a South American tour that will bring METALLICA to Panama, Costa Rica, Argentina, Chile, Brazil and several other countries.

Following that run, the quartet will head to Europe for dates throughout the spring and summer.

There's no word yet on whether METALLICA plans to play any North American shows in 2010.
